During the coming weeks of November and December, nine training sessions on advanced digital technologies will be organized in various municipalities in the Catalan territory. In particular, IoT, New Space, 5G, artificial intelligence, cyber security, blockchain, drones, immersive technologies, advanced manufacturing and robotics and additive manufacturing and 3D printing will be discussed. The cycle is born from the collaboration between the Digital Catalonia Alliance (DCA), the DIH4CAT and the Fundació i2Cat. The aim is to present in a clear and understandable way how these technologies can be applied in the field of innovation. During the nine training sessions, which will have the participation of DIH4CAT experts, real use cases will be presented and companies and technology providers will share their experiences in the implementation of advanced digital technologies in their activities. Meeting and conversation spaces will also be provided with the aim of promoting the generation of synergies and ecosystems. To participate, it is not mandatory to have prior knowledge of the topics.

Therefore, each training session will take place in a different municipality. The first session was about IoT and took place last Monday, November 6, from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm at The Thinx in Barcelona. The second session will be about artificial intelligence and will take place next Wednesday, November 15 from 11.30 to 1.30 pm at the Chamber of Commerce in Girona. The third session will be about New Space and will take place next Friday, November 17 from 11.30 to 1.30 pm at the Epicentre, center for visitors to the World Geopark UNESCO Orígens in Tremp. The fourth session will be about drones and will take place next Tuesday, November 21, from 11.30 to 1.30 pm at the Chamber of Commerce in Lleida. The fifth session will be on cybersecurity and blockchain and will take place next Wednesday, November 22, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Sala de Graus of the Rovira i Virgili University at the Sescelades Campus in Tarragona. The sixth session will be about 5G technologies and will take place next Thursday, November 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Vic Fair in Vic. The seventh session will be about robotics and 3D manufacturing and will take place next Thursday, November 30 from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm at the Eurecat Amposta in Amposta. The eighth session will be about immersive technologies and will take place next Tuesday, December 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Neapolis in Vilanova i la Geltrú. The ninth session will be on cyber security and will take place next Friday, December 15, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Conselh Generau Aran in Vielha. The nine sessions will be held face-to-face.
