Last Sunday, November 23, the training program 'Més Digitals' , an initiative of the Secretariat of Digital Policies of the Generalitat de Catalunya that works to reduce the digital divide and promote the digital empowerment of more than 90,000 people at risk of digital exclusion, was part of the '30 minuts' program on 3Cat. The audiovisual report 'Desconnectats' analyzed the exclusion generated by the digital divide in groups such as, for example, the elderly, people with disabilities or people in vulnerable situations and presented initiatives to leave no one behind. Specifically, the audiovisual report 'Desconnectats' shared the experience of the ICT Point of the Municipal Library of Cervelló , where an edition of the 'Més Digitals' training program was carried out with fifteen elderly people from the municipality of Cervelló. In this sense, 'Més Digitals' offers various training proposals, both in person and online, to help citizens achieve basic skills and competencies in the digital field and at the same time improve their quality of life through the use of new technologies in a safe, inclusive, sustainable, democratic and equitable way. Likewise, the audiovisual report 'Desconnectats' showed the case of Estonia, one of the most digitalized countries in the world, which exemplifies how technology can be a tool for inclusion.
