Users of the Punt Òmnia de La Seu d'Urgell have tested the virtual assistant in the Catalan language Cati. Designed by a young student from Alt Urgell, Markus Urban, the technological tool is designed to improve the well-being and quality of life of the elderly. In particular, Markus Urban developed the tool as a final project for his High School, obtaining the Exporecerca Jove award in Catalonia and participating in the International Science and Engineering Fair competition in the United States. Recently, the Punt TIC hosted a session to introduce the Cati virtual assistant in the Catalan language, test it and suggest changes and modifications. In the same way, the proposal has allowed the elderly to see the positive aspects of artificial intelligence and to test the functionalities of a virtual assistant in the Catalan language.
