Under the name 'What can I do for Palestine (via the Internet)?', the Punt Òmnia of Santa Coloma de Cervelló , in collaboration with the refugee support platform of Santa Coloma de Cervelló, has carried out an activity to support Palestine. The collective initiative has consisted of compiling and disseminating resources of interest, such as those around donations, the boycott, requests for support, the dissemination of information or community campaigns. Thus, the participants of the Punt TIC have functioned as an editorial board for a media outlet. Beyond the search for information and dissemination through social networks, local media or other communication channels, the activity has given space to reflection, debating and agreeing on the resources to include and the resources to discard, investigating the reliability of the sources of information and verifying the data collected. Consequently, the collective initiative has delved into the importance of critical thinking and the need for responsible communication in the digital environment, as well as the importance of raising awareness in the municipality.
