This July, the Punt Òmnia Gornal , located at Avinguda Carmen Amaya, number 37, in the town of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, has enjoyed two summer film forum sessions. The first film forum session was last Monday, July 13 and focused on the geopolitics of social networks. Through the screening of a documentary, participants reflected on what happens when a click is made, when a comment is published or when a photograph is shared, on how social networks can influence the perception of reality and on how personal data is a new form of power, control and supervision. The second film forum session was last Monday, July 20 and focused on artificial intelligence tools. Through the screening of a documentary, participants explored how artificial intelligence tools are transforming everyday life and debated the opportunities, threats, challenges, and future social, environmental, and ethical impacts on society.
The initiative had two sessions, where several documentaries were screened to debate and explore the geopolitics of social networks and artificial intelligence.
