This spring, the Punt TIC del Servei Municipal d’Ocupació de l’Ajuntament de Girona will organize a total of twenty-two short-term training modules to improve the employability of people looking for work. Specifically, the Punt TIC will consider how artificial intelligence can help to improve the curriculum vitae and cover letter, to look for work and pass the first filters, to look for information on economic sectors or to prepare for a job interview. The training capsules will seek to offer up-to-date and quality information on the main trends in personnel selection, promote the most in-demand transversal skills, facilitate entrepreneurship processes and generate connection spaces between people looking for work and the economic sectors. The programming for the months of April, May and June is divided into four categories: FeinaLab (job search tools and channels, such as, for example, mobile applications for job search, LinkedIn or Canva), skills classroom (sessions to work on image and personal brand, communication skills, decision-making or motivation), SMOemprèn (entrepreneurship, such as, for example, sessions on circular economy, internet sales, digital tools for small businesses or leadership, innovation and creativity in entrepreneurship) and occupations with options (information on economic sectors, such as, for example, social health, public administration or cycling).
