The fifth virtual meeting of the Xarxa Punt TIC Network in 2026 will focus on digital well-being. The new online session will take place next Thursday, May 21, from 12 to 1:30 p.m., and will be aimed at the facilitators and managing entities of the Xarxa Punt TIC Network. Specifically, the new virtual meeting of the Xarxa Punt TIC Network will feature the participation of Esther Subias, project manager of the digital divide response plan at the Secretariat of Digital Policies , and Alba Soler, innovation project manager at i2Cat . First, Subias will discuss the need to address digital well-being in the current context and the strategy of the Directorate General for Digital Economy and Society of the Generalitat de Catalunya, as well as the creation of the 'Més Digitals' program and, specifically, the launch of the online course on parental support in the digital environment. In this sense, the training proposal aims to promote the role of families as guides and examples for their sons and daughters in safe and responsible browsing of the network. Then, Soler will present the specific contents of the course and share simple and useful strategies and positive and healthy uses. Likewise, in the new virtual meeting, Ramon Oromí, facilitator of the Punt Òmnia gòTIC - Tàrrega City Council , and Núria Lloret, facilitator of the Punt TIC Can Muntanyola , will participate, who will explain the activities, workshops and talks they have organized around digital well-being so that other Punt TIC are encouraged to replicate them in their spaces.
