Safer Internet Day is celebrated annually on the first Tuesday of February. This year, with the help of the program Internet Segura, the Agència de Ciberseguretat de Catalunya, with the collaboration of schools, institutes, institutions, organizations and entities, has presented a new program of activities, workshops and proposals to build among all and among all a safer, more civic and more respectful Internet.

This year, Safer Internet Day 2024, which is celebrated in several countries of the European Union, focuses on hyperfaking or deep fake, an audiovisual manipulation technique with artificial intelligence with very realistic, but totally false results. Under the motto 'Find the fake. Videos, images and audios are not always what they seem', the Agència de Ciberseguretat de Catalunya has prepared different materials to work on the phenomenon in schools, institutes, institutions, organizations and entities and bring the concept of hyperfaking to the public. Specifically, you can consult data on the phenomenon, such as, for example, that 71% of the population does not know or have the ability to detect a hyperfake. You can also download educational resources for primary school students, secondary school students and teaching teams, as well as resources for citizens.
