Until next Sunday, January 18, at La Capella in Barcelona, the ArsGames organization will reflect on the imminent future, possible imaginaries, crisis scenarios and the acceptance of collapse as a horizon.
On Thursday, October 23, the ArsGames organization, a cultural association that promotes and manages projects related to video games and new technologies through art, education, research, development and citizen participation, officially presented the exhibition 'Nostalgia for the Future: Traversing the Collapse' at the La Capella facilities, located at Carrer de l'Hospital, number 56, in the city of Barcelona. The exhibition includes several installations that seek to reflect on the imminent future, on possible imaginaries, on crisis scenarios and on the acceptance of collapse as a horizon. The organization states that "if nostalgia is a pathology that idealizes the past in the face of the chaos of the present, the works on display invite us to inhabit nostalgia as a reflective and non-linear temporality from which to yearn for a life and a future." The exhibition can be visited until next Sunday, January 18. In this sense, the ArsGames entity regularly promotes innovative and groundbreaking projects such as, for example, exhibitions, experimentation laboratories, informational events or the creation of video games.
