The VIII Congress of Technological Sovereignty will seek to study the social impact of new technologies from an interdisciplinary point of view and with an informative aim, as well as raise awareness among citizens.
Next Saturday, February 28, throughout the day, a new edition of the Technological Sovereignty Congress will be organized at La Lleialtat Santsenca, located at Olzinelles Street, number 31, in the city of Barcelona. This year, the initiative will celebrate its eighth edition and will once again become a meeting point for activists, academics, experts and people interested in knowing how technology affects their lives. Specifically, the VIII Technological Sovereignty Congress will seek to study the social impact of new technologies from an interdisciplinary point of view and with an informative intention. The objective will be to bring citizens closer to these current issues and raise awareness of the importance they have on their rights and fundamental freedoms through talks, presentations, conferences, workshops and dynamics. Likewise, there will be a special program of children's activities for all ages, such as storytelling, screenings and the workshop 'What Happens to Us on the Internet #SenseFiltres'. The VIII Congress of Technological Sovereignty is free, but participants are advised to try to register in advance.
