Last Thursday, October 19, the Col·laboratori Catalunya, promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya and the i2CAT Foundation, organized the conference 'Time of Col·laboratories: promoting digital social innovation at the local level' in the town from Vic. The aim was to deepen and learn about tools, projects and methodologies that place citizens at the center of innovation with the aim of dealing more efficiently with current social challenges. The day began with an institutional welcome by the general director of Societat Digital de la Generalitat de Catalunya, Liliana Arroyo. Then, successful projects linked to digital social innovation were presented, a space for creating synergies was generated, two trainings on advanced digital technologies and on digital social innovation were energized and closed with the visit of two equipment: the MediaLab of the Pilarín Bayés Library, which hosts the specialization and territorial competitiveness project Osona Lab City, and the Center for Contemporary Arts, with the exhibition 'Artificial intelligence: this is not art'.

So, around seventy people attended the 'Collaborative Time: promoting digital social innovation at the local level' conference, which became a space for connection between the different agents of the territory in order to promote collaborative work in the deployment of digital and socially inclusive projects. "I encourage you to create confluences between citizens, public administrations, research centers and companies", said Liliana Arroyo, director general of Societat Digital de la Generalitat de Catalunya. "We need to digitize the current society and create a more digitized one", said Artur Serra of the i2CAT Foundation.
