Next Thursday, November 16, at 10 a.m., the Universitat de Barcelona, located at 585 Carrer Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes in the city of Barcelona, will host a seminar to address the relationship between artificial intelligence generative and the learning and teaching processes. The session 'Students versus Teachers: let's talk about generative artificial intelligence and learning' will take place in Room B2 of the Historical Building of the Universitat de Barcelona. Specifically, at 10 a.m., Mariona Grané, coordinator of the Teaching Innovation Group in Evaluation and Technology, will give the official welcome. Then, there will be the inaugural presentation 'Generative artificial intelligence in learning: a terrain in tension' by Davinia Hernández-Leo from Universitat Pompeu i Fabra and the round table 'How to make the most of intelligence generative artificial intelligence for teaching and assessment?' with professors Elena Cano and Eloi Puertas from the Universitat de Barcelona and Montse Guitert from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. After the break, there will be the interview 'What does the use of artificial intelligence bring to your learning?' with students Dayanne Delgado, Paula Herraez and María Françes Pacheco and a participative debate with the attendees. Finally, at 1:30 p.m., Maite Fernández-Ferrer, from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, will share the conclusions of the seminar 'Students versus Teachers: let's talk about generative artificial intelligence and learning' under the title 'Some steps for to use generative artificial intelligences to teach and to learn'.
