Currently, the Catalan Institute for Women is working on developing a search engine for professional women, academics, activists, politicians, technicians and researchers from different fields of knowledge, research and social action. The initiative aims to promote the presence and voice of women in spaces of opinion and decision-making in the media and public and private institutions, while promoting a more diverse and more egalitarian representation. In this context, the Catalan Institute for Women is calling on Catalan professional women to be part of the initiative. Registration is free and voluntary, and can be done online in a few minutes. The directory of professional women, which is currently in a development phase and which the Generalitat de Catalunya body expects to be operational soon, will have an interactive viewer that will allow advanced searches by name and surname, profession, area of specialization or territory.
