On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which will be commemorated next Wednesday, November 25, the Punt Òmnia gòTIC Tàrrega , with the collaboration of the Feminism Department of the Tàrrega City Council, will organize a feminist digital self-defense workshop, because gender violence can also occur in digital environments. Online harassment, control through digital devices, the dissemination of images without consent and hate speech are some examples. The proposal will create a participatory space to recognize these situations, talk about them and understand their effects, and will be aimed at people who want to strengthen their autonomy and safety, learn to identify digital gender violence and learn about resources to prevent and deal with it. Specifically, the proposal will take place on Saturdays 7, 14 and 21 November, from 10 to 11:30 am, at the Punt TIC facilities. The aim will be to offer useful tools to experience digital spaces with greater autonomy and security.
